WOO-HOOOO

The results just came in, and Leland passed his GED. Like it was ever even a question of whether or not he actually would. To top it all off he passed with really high scores. His average was 620, which minimum passing is 450 and I think the Maximum was 800, but the only reason it wasn't higher was the Math, and really who actually does well with that anyway. I'm sure right now as I type he's calling up L-3 and saying I told you I'd get right back with you, and now for my job please. He had said he felt a little bad about not studying at all but that the questions were all really easy, so he stopped feeling so bad. I can relate I remember a couple of packets I had to do before I all together left H.S. for college, they were written for underachievers because of lack of mental capability, not underacheivers because of lack of stimulation, and I'm sure that's how the test felt for Leland. Anyway we're both very happy and just had to share the happiness. Leland says he's so happy he could go dancing... NAKED!! (Ok so you've all probably never seen that Invader Zim episode, but that's what he said.)

What you see above once was my ugly kitchen I had to put the before pictures up you you could all remember how stupid and ugly it was, and so that you'll be amazed by this! See isn't it super awesome even unfinished? Yeah I thought so too. Also be amazed by my complete lack of being able to make these pictures do what I want them to do in this blog ARG!

Yay Vegetables!

Leland and I have started all of our seed for this years garden. I can't wait to eat them all. We've got tomatos (of course), cucumbers, bell peppers, melons, eggplant, squash, pumpkin, and some others all planted inside. Later we'll start the peas, mesclin, and blue corn. It was so fun last year and I just can't wait to see the first sprouts in a week or so.

Super Happy News!

Friday is Lelands last day at Lowes! YAY! I'm so sick of him working weekends and nights it's freaking crap. Plus then he's just grumpy afterwards because he hates it there. He's going to be getting a job at L-3 Communications right across the street from my school. We're both looking forward to him having a new better happier job.

I have too much free time today

So I thought I'd set this up. I know my tuition money is going to great use when I have so much time I can sit here get bored of surfin' and create a blog just like the rest of my family. My instructor is sick (the second day now) and he's the only one who can teach Turbine Engines, the subject we just started. But I'm still stuck here or I have to make up the time later.
